Located in the Iowa Valley Grinnell building, consumers have daily opportunities to interact with college students and staff. The CDC collects and sorts recycling throughout the entire building, and hosts several annual building events such as a summer picnic and holiday party.
A monthly newsletter: News From Lake Joybecome, highlights activities of the CDC such as cleaning of Bailey Park and Iowa Valley grounds twice each year, “People, Places, and Events” as educational preparation for large and small group outings, consumer photography and packaging toys for pediatric patients at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.
