Welcome Adult Students!
So you’re thinking about taking the big step of going to college? We have good news … it’s going to be much easier than you probably think! The fact is, adult students tend to enjoy the college experience far more, and get more out of it, than those who go to college right after high school. There are lots of great reasons for you to choose Ellsworth, but we think our other adult students will be far more effective than we could be at convincing you that you can make it here.

Now that you know you can be successful at ECC, the rest of the process will be easy. We’ve provided some additional information and resource links here, but all you really need to do is just stop in to our Admissions Office (upstairs in Gentle Student Center) and visit with our staff. Convenient We know life is demanding of your time. Many of our adult students juggle one or more jobs, possibly even working evening and weekend hours. They also have family obligations, community involvements, kids’ activities, and all the other issues that life throws their way. ECC offers convenient day, evening, and online classes to fit your education into your busy schedule.
Affordable Whatever your financial situation might be, we can help you get an education that will enhance your earning power for the rest of your life. In general, tuition and fees for attending a community college are lower than the cost of attending a state university or private institution – by state law.
