Room Dimensions for the Residence Halls are as follows:
The following items are included with each Residence Hall room
for each resident
Mattress sizes for all 3
residence halls are a standard twin size, 36”x 75” The Department of Residence
Life and Housing has a limited number of extra long twin mattresses (36”x 80”)
that are available upon request. These requests can be made to our department
prior to the start of the school year. Requests will be honored in a first come
first serve basis and not all requests receive a mattress
Lofts are allowed in student rooms under the following
conditions
The loft is free standing and does not use the walls, ceiling or any other
permanent structure in the room for support The loft once constructed does not
surpass 6’6” in height, due to fire code.
Ellsworth Community College assumes no liability for the safety of any loft
built, purchased, or rented for use in your residence hall room. This means that
you assume liability for anything placed or constructed in your room.
