About the College

Ellsworth Equestrian Center

Construction is nearing completion on the new 75,100 square foot Ellsworth Equestrian Center, located on Highway 65 on the south side of Iowa Falls, IA. The Equestrian Center is part of the new 40-acre Robert & Arlene Hamilton campus, which also includes a new Renewable Energy Center, shown on the right side of the photo below. The Renewable Energy Center opened in the Fall of 2009, and the Equestrian Center should be done within the next couple of months (shows and events are now being booked).

Features of the fully heated Ellsworth Equestrian Center will include:

  • 155 stalls with concrete alleys
  • 100x275 indoor show arena, with seating for more than 500
  • Warm-up arena that connects directly to the show arena
  • Outdoor arena with PA system
  • Vendor areas
  • Warm water wash racks
  • Student lounge area
  • Lots of space for parking cars, trucks and campers
