It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to Ellsworth Community College. The mission of our College's faculty and staff is to provide you with an academically challenging, friendly environment where you can learn and grow into our leaders of the future.
Our motto is "Real Tradition, Real Success" and we stand behind it! Ellsworth was founded in 1890 as a four-year college, and in its more than 100 years has established a strong tradition of education for area, state, and out of state residents. In 1967, Ellsworth Community College came under the jurisdiction of Iowa Valley Community College District. Today, through the Ellsworth College Foundation and the Ellsworth College Board of Trustees, we maintain a very strong scholarship program.
