Agribusiness
Program Summary
Agribusiness combines instruction in the agricultural sciences and business with particular emphasis on business practices and the management of agricultural production. By combining these areas in the curriculum, the program meets agribusiness competencies essential for today's production agriculture, and provides students expertise to allow them to enter management levels in agribusiness firms.
In addition, a broad range of elective courses allows the student to structure a program consistent with his/her personal interests and goals. Agribusiness students are also involved in a cooperative education program that provides training, experience, and a first-hand look at various career opportunities.
