Men's & Women's Cross Country
Season Recap: The 2006-07 cross country season was highlighted with the ECC women’s team finishing second in the Regional Championships and sending 4 ECC runners (2 men and 2 women) to compete at the NJCAA National Championships in El Paso, Texas. Finishing the race strong was Teresa Booth for the ECC women who placed 7th in the nation. She earned All-American honors, All-Region and set all-time course and conference records.
The 2007-08 season will see a group of new incoming freshman to replace the graduating sophomores from the 2006-2007 teams. The Panthers will compete in seven meets against the many four-year colleges as well as teams from the growing field of JUCO colleges competing in cross country. Ellsworth continues to offer an excellent opportunity to offer an opportunity for graduating high school runners to continue their running career at the collegiate level.

Coach Hodak is continuing to work with four-year colleges to create opportunities for ECC graduates to transfer to after graduating from ECC. This becomes an excellent chance for students to be recruited by four-year schools that they can continue to compete at while earning a bachelors degree after completing their associate’s degree at Ellsworth.
