ECC hosts Cindy Lin piano concert March 26
Cindy Lin, adjunct piano instructor at Ellsworth Community College, will be featured in a piano concert on Tuesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in Hamilton Auditorium, Kruse Main Hall on the ECC campus in Iowa Falls. The concert, which will last less than an hour, is free and open to the public.
Ms. Lin specializes in French music and American contemporary music. Currently a candidate for Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at the University of Maryland’s School of Music, she has traveled extensively and frequently performs solo and chamber recitals in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and the Greater Los Angeles area. Ms. Lin holds a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the University of California-Irvine and a master’s degree in Piano Performance from the Boston Conservatory.
Her March 26 performance at ECC will include the work of Olivier Messiaen, Cécile Chaminade, W.A. Mozart, Emmanuel Chabrier, Déodat de Séverac, Francis Poulenc, and Claude Debussy.
