Orientations ready students for fall term
Ellsworth Community College continues to conduct summer orientation sessions for students planning to attend ECC beginning this fall semester. New and prospective students must sign up to attend an orientation session through the ECC Admissions Office.
“The summer orientation is mandatory for students who’ll start classes here this fall,” explains ECC Director of Admissions Adriane Gehl. “New students can complete mandatory testing during the orientation, and we also cover topics like financial aid, billing/payments, housing, counseling, support services and registration. New students then schedule their classes with an academic advisor, while parents and family members meet with College staff to get any additional information they may need. We give lots of housing tours, campus tours, and generally ensure that new students and their families are comfortable and totally prepared for the start of our fall classes.”
To register for ECC fall term classes, contact the ECC Admissions Office at 800-322-9235 or email email@example.com. 2014 fall classes begin Wednesday, Aug. 20.
