ECC 2nd Half Term classes start Oct. 22
There are a few important reasons to consider enrolling in one of the short-term Second Half Term courses that begin Oct. 22 at Ellsworth Community College.
“Some students take Second Half Term courses because their circumstances prevented them from starting in August when all the others did,” explains Annie Kalous, ECC Associate Dean of Enrollment Services. “The half-term classes are a good opportunity to get into the swing of college, whether a student wanted to start here in August but didn’t get the paperwork done, or whether he or she started elsewhere and decided that the other institution wasn’t the right fit.”
Second Half Term courses are also popular with students who are just a few credits behind, or who dropped a Fall Term course and want to maintain their credit load for financial aid or other purposes.
The Second Half Term runs from Oct. 22 through Dec. 14 (final exams are given the week of Dec. 10-14). To register, contact the ECC Admissions Office by phoning 641-648-4611 or 1-800-322-9235, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
