Academic Support Services
Ellsworth Community College provides a variety of academic support services to help students be successful. Listed below are several individuals and links that may be helpful to you. If you aren't sure which of these individuals or departments to contact, e-mail email@example.com and we'll put you in touch with the right person!
Academic Advising – Each Ellsworth student is assigned an academic advisor, who assists them in choosing courses and seeing that the appropriate coursework is taken to assure graduation, transfer to another college or university, or completion of a career program. Students should maintain regular contact with their academic advisor throughout the year and are invited to contact members of the counseling staff whenever needed. If you're unsure who your academic advisor is, contact the Registrar's Office and they can look it up for you.
Counseling– Ellsworth has two part-time counselors in the Gentle Student Center. Counseling services include help with decisions on curriculum choices, vocational development, and problems of a personal or social nature. Special counseling services are also available for older students enrolling in college after being away from formal education. Counseling services are free and available to all students.
