Registration for fall term classes at IVCC Grinnell underway; Start delayed to Sept. 2 8/11/2008 Iowa Valley Community College Grinnell’s fall term semester will begin Tuesday, Sept. 2 and run through Friday, Dec. 12. Vice-Provost Robin Shaffer Lilienthal notes that classes at the IVCC Grinnell campus will be delayed one week and one day due to the impact of the flash flooding that the IVCC Grinnell campus sustained during Grinnell’s torrential rains on July 27. IVCC Grinnell students honored 5/8/2008 Iowa Valley Community College Grinnell celebrated the culmination of another academic year with a special awards celebration honoring 2007-2008 graduates and honorees. Robin Shaffer Lilienthal, Vice Provost of IVCC Grinnell, welcomed students, faculty and family members who gathered for the ceremony and a reception that followed at the Grinnell High School Auditorium on Sunday, May 4. The graduates will receive degrees and diplomas during the Marshalltown Community College Commencement on May 9 in Marshalltown.
