Loren Elliott presents “The Benefits of a Business Web Presence in the Digital World,” on October 18 at Iowa Valley Grinnell
Iowa Valley Community College Grinnell will play host to the Regional Alliance for Innovative Development this month as Loren Elliott presents “The Benefits of a Business Web Presence in the Digital World.” The presentation, part of the ‘Build a Better Business’ series, will be from 8 – 9:30 am on Thursday, October 18, on the campus of Iowa Valley Grinnell.
Loren Elliott has been bridging the gap between business and information technology for his entire career. With opportunities that abound on the Internet for entrepreneurs, Elliott helps independent businesses improve their web presence so they get more traffic to their websites and more new customers in the door. His specialty is making sure a business’ prospective customers can find them online, even if they don’t know the name. His presentation will touch on the ways independent business owners can compete online against the ‘big boys’. Elliot also helps businesses explore opportunities for additional streams of income.
The primary goal of the presentation is to help businesses build a successful web presence and online marketing strategy, which includes a strong focus on usability, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and quality web design. Technology and techniques are constantly changing. Having a leading edge design, high-impact content and strong presence on popular social media channels is critical to staying relevant in today’s competitive marketplace.
Elliott owns Web Ranking Solutions, an Iowa web marketing company providing independent, small to medium size businesses and organizations quality web design, web development, SEO, and social media marketing services. Besides helping entrepreneurs he enjoys spending time with his wife, Teresa, his three children, and his five dogs.
The Regional Alliance for Innovative Development is dedicated to providing outreach, education, training, and networking opportunities to small business owners and entrepreneurs in Poweshiek County area.
