Introduces the arts of many cultures from prehistoric times to the present and the elements of art and principles of design. Emphasizes the continuity and variety of artistic expression by mankind.This ECC credit class is available to non-credit students on a space available basis taught by the ECC Art instructor.

Pottery
From hand-building with clay to throwing pots on the wheel, this class lets you create and explore this interesting craft. Cost includes 25 lbs. of clay, necessary glazes, tools, and firing. Raku techniques will be covered also if enough time. Register and pay by 9/25.

Pottery for Beginners
Have you always wanted to get your hands in the clay and create on the potter's wheel? ECC Art instructor will teach basic wheel-throwing techniques as well as centering, trimming, making a lid, and glazing. You will glaze and finish at least one project. Pre-register & prepay by 10/23.
