"Gotta Dance?" Have Fun this Fall with these Great Dance Classes! Perfect for All Around Fun; Weddings; and ALL Social Events!
Whether you're a beginner or advanced dancer, Iowa Valley Continuing Education has a class that fits you! If you like an instructor who breaks things down so it's easy to learn, then you'll like these dance classes! Instructor, Faythe Kubik, knows dancing and how to teach it! She works on only one or two dances so you can look good and be comfortable. Now is a great time to get started or get back into dancing. If you want to progress fast, take more than one class. Line Dance Now's your chance to learn some great line dances. We'll start with Cruisin' and Cowboy Boogie. These are very popular and lots of fun. It's so important to give you enough time to learn. If we try to do too many, you end up being confused and frustrated. So, depending on how fast the group catches on, determines if we learn another one. Perfect for Weddings & All Social Events! Beginning Level The "Rock Sway" is perfect for slow, romantic songs! You'll be moving, twirling, and swaying, and even dipping! This material makes you look and feel good fast. This is at a Beginning Level and is a must for all social events! If you have a wedding coming up, you'll want to positively catch this class and "Dance the Nite Away!" Price shown is per person. Singles and couples welcome! Both the 4 pm and 5:30 pm classes are at intermediate levels. People in these classes have been taking on regular basis. If you're already a dancer, these are great choices! If you have to miss a week, you can always 'double up' and do both classes another week. Even though they are working on different material, it's very beneficial to attend so you don't miss out on the practice! For East Coast Swing know and be comfortable with the double time swing. This swing uses the triple step for it's basic. It will be very easy for us to put our double time variations directly into the East Coast swing. Enjoy how the East Coast Swing gives you the ability to adapt to more musical styles and tempos. Review and add to the double time swing as well. Get ready for lots of fun! Swing is so much fun! Depending on your mood, it can be either wild and energetic or smooth and classy. We're going to be learning the double time swing.
