Hunter Safety
Anyone born after Jan. 1, 1967 must complete this class to purchase a hunting license in Iowa. Many other states also require this class. It covers hunting and safety, first aid, safe gun handling, wildlife management, and game laws. Minimum age 12. Class meets Sat., 9-4 and Sun Noon-4. Bring a sack lunch on Sat. Taught by several instructors. Co-sponsored with Calkins Nature Center.
