Crime
We would like to think that crime is only found in cities or on television. Dan Wilkens, Tama Chief of Police, knows differently. He will spend this evening with you and tell you about the variety of crime that he and his officers encounter. He will especially emphasize the scams being run in the state. He is concerned that so many of our local citizens are losing thousands of dollars to these crooks. It seems that the most frequent targets are the elderly, but people of all ages are their victims. Chief Wilkens has said that he and his officers encounter crime daily, and they encounter scams as often as three times a week. If you are concerned about being a victim or if you are concerned about an elderly person who could become a victim, spend an interesting evening acquiring the knowledge that can give protection.
