Applied Safety & Sanitation
This updated version offers information on methods of serving safe foods, sanitation and safety in all areas, the HACCP principles, pest control, regulatory agencies and inspections. This 12-hour class is approved for school food service and restaurant employees. It is part of the supervisor's training for long-term care and is needed to obtain certification for dietary management. No class Oct.28. Class will be held Oct. 30th instead.

Food Principles
Learn the basic principles and development of techniques for each food group. You'll evaluate product quality and procedures to improve or retain flavor and appearance while maximizing nutritional benefits. Training is for long-term care and school food service personnel. Part of the supervisors training.
