Recreation & Sports Marshall County Conservation Board Mike Stegmann, Director of the Marshall County Conservation Board and lifelong resident of Marshalltown presents history and overview of the organization as it celebrates its 50th anniversary. Presented at Grimes Farm and Conservation Center, the premier environmental educational tool for the conservation board. Includes major accomplishments of the board and a photo tour of some of the areas under MCCB management. Brief tour of the conservation center followed by short hike on the trails near the building will also available for those wishing to participate. Transportation available. Meet at IVCE, 3702 S. Taekwondo for Families Total fitness activity! This instruction and continuation course is designed for families. No experience required, and all ages welcome. This exciting form of life-long recreation and exercise has the added benefit of being useful for self-protection. Promotes flexibility and balance while building self-confidence, mental discipline, self-control, coordination, strength and aerobic conditioning. Development of martial arts skills relies heavily on guided practice, attitude and effort. Note: Class participation is essential.
