Iowa Valley Leadership Marshall County residents may participate in the well-established and highly successful Iowa Valley Leadership (IVL) program. Participants meet once a month, September through May, to explore a variety of community and leadership issues. Sessions focus on team building, community stewardship, economic development, education, law enforcement, city and county government, legislative issues, community diversity, conservation, and community involvement. Goals * Participants will learn about local issues and resources available in Marshalltown. * IVL will provide opportunities for participants to interact with community leaders. * Opportunities will be presented for participants to become further committed to involvement in community activities. * Participants can develop a network of friends and professionals.
