Spanish for Apartment Management

Intended Audience: Non-Spanish speaking apartment managers needing to communicate with Spanish-speaking tenants.

Program Description: A comprehensive treatment of the language used by apartment managers communicating with tenants and applicants who speak Spanish. Provides immediate access to functional language skills for non-Spanish speaking apartment managers. The language component utilizes phonetic encoding to address pronunciation of the most important Spanish phrases, commands, and questions related to all phases of apartment management. No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary.

Content: An 86-page manual and two accompanying CDs discuss communication with Spanish-speaking tenants, including conducting an initial visit, collecting applicants' information, provide general housing unit information, describe extra facilities and mail services, explaining and executing the lease, disclosing rules and regulations, and providing information about security issues.

Objectives: To use Spanish to greet new and current tenants and discuss information related to all aspects of apartment management.
