IVCE offers Make 'n Take Freezer Meals
IOWA FALLS – Take the guesswork and last-minute hassles out of meal planning by preparing and freezing meals ahead of time. Join Anne Wiarda in assembling freezer meals for one, two, three, or all four of Iowa Valley Continuing Education’s upcoming Make ‘n Take Freezer Meals courses in Hardin County.
Bringing your family to the table will be easy when you learn to create unique Make ‘n Take Freezer Meals. Participants will assemble three delicious meals during each class to take home and freeze. All ingredients and supplies are provided, plus additional recipes.
The classes are scheduled as follows:

- Wednesday, Jan. 16 – Make ‘n Take “Wahoo for Chili.” Assemble delicious variations to this traditional wintertime favorite.
- Wednesday, Feb. 20 – Make ‘n Take “Winter Winner Chicken Dinner.” Assemble three scrumptious chicken meals that the family will devour.
- Wednesday, March 13 – Make ‘n Take “Crock Pot Craze.” Create simple, easy-to-prepare crockpot meals.
- Wednesday, April 17 – Make ‘n Take “Beef Made Simple.” This class will feature creative and kid-friendly ground beef meals.
All classes are held from 6 to 7:30 pm at Wiarda Acreage, 12192 B Ave. in Ackley. The cost of each class is $30; class size is limited, so please register early.
