MDS and OASIS submissions and CASPER reporting system training
MARSHALLTOWN – This workshop will provide the most recent information on the use and implementation of OASIS and MDS data transmission and reports on QIES systems. Tim Kufner, MDS/OASIS Automation Coordinator with Telligen will instruct this class on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 1:45-4:00 pm at Iowa Valley Continuing Education, 3702 S Center St. room 806 in Marshalltown.
As a participant in the class you will learn about QIES automation process and how to access Validation Reports. OASIS specific information on complete OASIS correction activity, access OASIS CASPER Reports, and how to recognize new OASIS technical updates. Then there will be specific MDS information which will cover the complete MDS correction activity, how to access MDS CASPER Reports, how to recognize new MDS technical updates, and how to recognize new CASPER Updates. The class will conclude with identifying resources/CMS updates 2013-14.
The target audience includes new home health agency staff responsible for OASIS implementation and OASIS automation/data transmission and new nursing facility staff responsible for MDS implementation and MDS automation/data transmission. Those who submit MDS or OASIS data and want a refresher are also encouraged to attend. This class will provide 0.20 CEUs for nurses. Cost of the class is $25 and you can register for course HEP 3131.
