"Just the 'computer' basics, ma'am"
GRINNELL – IVCE is offering a computing class for “seasoned” individuals at a pace that is easy to absorb. “Just the ‘computer’ basics, ma’am,” course number CMB 1251 601, will be offered Mondays, Feb. 11 – Feb. 25, 9-11 am.
In the first two-hour session, learn how to turn on the computer, what the mouse functions do, and how to customize the computer for easier viewing. In the second session, review all previous skills and navigate the computer desktop and computer terms. The final session will review previous skills and learn to browse the internet. The three sessions one week apart enable users who are completely new to computers to get exposure and become comfortable.
Class will be located at Iowa Valley Grinnell, 123 6th Avenue West, Grinnell, room 107. Cost is $58. Please register and pay by Monday, Feb. 4.
