Marketing your business online
IOWA FALLS – “Marketing Your Business Online,” will be held in Iowa Falls Wednesday, February 27, from 8 to 11:45 am at the Ellsworth Community College Agriculture & Renewable Energy Building, room 110.
This class is part of a new business training series recently created by the Iowa Falls Chamber/Main Street in conjunction with Iowa Valley Continuing Education. The IVCE Business to You series, “Growing Your Business Skills in Iowa Falls and Hardin County,” features four separate classes and was made possible through Iowa Falls Hotel/Motel tax funding. The “Marketing Your Business Online,” is the second class in the series, which also includes “Customer Service That Keeps and Creates Customers” (March 13) and “Growing Your Business from the Idea Up (March 27).
Kristen Monroe, owner, Ultimate Web Design, LLC, will instruct the class that will help participants reach a larger audience for their business product. Monroe will also address bringing “global” business literally to the participants’ door, through internet marketing. Participants will also learn the advantages of e-commerce, social media, pay-per-click advertising and more. She will help the students explore existing storefronts that they can utilize to build their own internet presence, while reaching customers 24/7, all while keeping their regular work week!
Registration is required. Register by calling 641-752-4645 and asking for course # BUS 1001 002. Cost is $10 and includes coffee, juice and rolls. The Ellsworth Community College Agriculture and Renewable Energy building is located on Highway 65 South, Iowa Falls.
