Quick Triangles - Beginning Quilting May 1
MARSHALLTOWN - Have you ever thought about wanting to make a quilt, but just don't know where or how to start? This beginner level class covers the basics of piecing, pressing, construction, assembly, layering, machine quilting and the basic French binding. Even the "I don't know the first thing about quilting,” novice can enjoy this class and go home with a small finished project. Although this is a great beginner level class, experienced quilters are sure to pick up a tip or two and will enjoy being a part of the discussion and fun. The combination ‘hands-on’ / round table discussion format will give participants the opportunity to see and try examples of many techniques. The supply list will be sent after the registration deadline. Instructor, Charleen Richtsmeier, is a professional quilter and experienced instructor.
