Quilting dilemmas open workshop
MARSHALLTOWN – Working on a quilting project and running into problems? Not sure how to fix something that just doesn’t look quite right? The Quilting Dilemmas open workshop can answer all of your questions and offer the assistance you need to get that special project done right.
The Quilting Dilemmas open workshop is designed for quilters of every skill level. Bring your sewing machine, material, projects, extension cords, and any other supplies you will need to work on your quilting project. Most importantly bring your questions and quilting dilemmas for experienced quilter Charleen Richtsmeier to help you find solutions and assist you with during this workshop time.
You can attend all day or part of the day and get your questions and dilemmas figured out so you can progress on your project. Questions can range from selecting fabrics and designing a quilt, to how particular techniques are executed, to which thread or quilting designs to use, on through how to bind and label your project. Bring as many questions and problems as you wish. Or, just come and take advantage of the large layout table, raised cutting table, and quilter camaraderie.
The Quilting Dilemmas open workshop class will take place on Wednesday, May 22 from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm at Iowa Valley Continuing Education, 3702 S Center St, Marshalltown, room 608. Cost of the class is $15 and the course number is CFN 1216-002. Call 641-752-4645 to register and pay by May 15.
