Excel for Everyday
MARSHALLTOWN – You have the nuts and bolts of Excel 2010, now how do you put it to use? Start off with an overview on how to plan your spreadsheet, where to start and why. In one short night, get some real life examples of how you can use your excel skills to work smarter in your everyday life so that you don’t lose them. Also learn to use excel to organize an event, balance your checkbook, plan a quilt, maximize your garage space, compare grocery store sales, track your cell phone usage, plan meals, and the list goes on. Take home a handout and CD with all the tools used in class and complete spreadsheet examples that you can use or edit. Mouse proficiency and previous Excel instruction is required.
Excel for Everyday, Course #CMB 1005 064, will be held Tuesday, October 23 at the Business and Technology Center room 201 on the Marshalltown Community College Campus, 3700 S. Center St., Marshalltown from 6 - 9 pm.
