Iowa Valley Continuing Education hosting Iowa Notary class October 27
MARSHALLTOWN - Notaries Public hold such an important role in the security of their community. You are the trusted individual who everyone comes to when they need that extra validation and peace of mind on their documents. Do you feel up to the task? Do you identify them in the proper manner? There is a growing need for Notaries Public in many professions, including: financial, real estate, business and legal professions. Learn how to obtain your notary commission from the State of Iowa. You will acquire skills and tools to complete your state assigned job duties as described by the Iowa Secretary of State. Any notary, new or renewing, will obtain the ability to perform all notary duties with less liability and more confidence. This course of study meets the standards of the United Notary Association of America and follows all of the laws and guidelines for the position of the Iowa Notary Public from the Iowa Secretary of State and Iowa Notary Laws.
This Iowa Notary class is applicable to the new or aspiring notary as well as the experienced notary. It will set new notaries on a better track of knowledge and performance that hasn’t been accomplished before, as well as, giving you knowledge of security issues you need to be aware of and practice. In this day and age, it is becoming even more necessary for the notary to be aware of some of the liabilities and pitfalls they may face without the proper knowledge and awareness. Don't miss this chance to visit with other area notaries on issues and best practices. You will find out things you never knew about being a notary and some of the things that you may be approached and asked to do by the public.
