Step onto the dance floor with IVCE!
MARSHALLTOWN – According to Oprah Winfrey, “Every day brings a chance for you to draw in a breath, kick off your shoes, and dance.” Whether you want to get a little exercise, get out of the house and meet some new people, get ready for an upcoming wedding, or just get moving ... your next step should be to enroll in one or more of the Iowa Valley Continuing Education dance classes. Our popular instructor, Faythe Kubik, has put together several classes that are sure to entice you onto the dance floor.
Choose one or more of these late fall classes which run Sundays, Oct. 28 to Dec. 2. Fun and Popular Swing (2:30 - 4:00 pm), Rhumba and Swing Terrific Variations (4 - 5:30 pm), Tantalizing Salsa and Tango (5:30 - 7:00 pm), and Wonderful Rock Sway (7 - 8:30 pm. There will not be classes on Nov. 25. All classes are $48 per person.
For those wanting a short-term workshop or two, check out The Classy Foxtrot and Fun Two Step on Oct. 28 or The Easy and So Fun Party Swing on Nov. 11. Both are held 12:30 – 2:30 pm. Cost is $20 per person.
A Public Dance, hosted by Faythe (mini lesson included – 7:45 pm) is scheduled for Sat., Nov. 17, 8:15 – 11:15 pm, with a cost of $10 per person that can be paid at the door.
