MCC Tiger Basketball 2007-08
Season Preview
The Tigers are returning two sophomores from last year's squad including
All-Region member Martez Hawkins who led the Tigers in assists as a freshman.
Luis Valera is also returning for his sophomore campaign and is looking to lead
the way on the inside. Tyrone Nance and Donald Lucious are coming off a red
shirt year. Two transfers in Jerry Follot and Marquis Navarre will also add to
the experience factor. These six will be joined by a freshman class that should
improve the Tiger backcourt and interior games. Bobby Webb and Carlos Figurola
will add to the backcourt, while Douglas Kurts, Richard Conry and Dwayne Edwards
athleticism will add to the interior game.
