Deana Inman is interim cheer coach this year and brings several years of experience in cheerleading and public performance to the squad. She is the Associate Dean of Student Services at MCC and is responsible for recruitment for the college. She is a graduate of Kansas State University and has her master’s degree from Iowa State University. She and her husband, TJ, live in Marshalltown.
George Johnson
After a year's absence, George
Johnson returns as the assistant cheer coach. He has taught business at MCC
for 21 years, is on the Tiger Athletic Committee and has been involved in
fund-raising for Tiger athletics for many years. He received his AA degree
from MCC and then went on to get his bachelor's and master's degrees from
the University of Northern Iowa, where he was a cheerleader and is a member
of the UNI Alumni Cheerleading Squad. He earned his MBA from Nova
University.
Bethany Gullion
Bethany is an AmeriCorps*VISTA, service-learning coordinator at MCC. She graduated from Central College with majors in Political Science and Spanish. In high school, she was on both the varsity cheerleading squad and dance team for four years.
