Meet the instructor

Linda Barnes earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and her Ph.D. from Iowa State University.  She is a long-time member of Practical Farmer’s of Iowa and the Iowa Network for Sustainable Agriculture.  Linda is one of the founding owners of Wholesome Harvest Organic Meats, a company that currently markets organic meats in over 200 Midwestern retail outlets.  She and her family operate a small diversified farm in Marshall County.
