You might be surprised to learn that most MCC students
graduate with our transferable Associate in Arts
degree. This liberal arts degree program includes a
variety of general education courses that can be applied
toward any of the career programs listed above or
transferred to four-year schools if you decide to pursue
a bachelor’s degree.
We're accredited which means the
classes you take at MCC will transfer just about
anywhere. Take your credits and transfer to one of the
many state and private colleges or universities, or stay
right here in Marshalltown and finish your bachelor's
degree at Buena Vista University's Marshalltown Center.
And when you've finished your degree, enjoy lifelong
learning opportunities through
Iowa Valley
Continuing Education.
Another bonus offered at MCC is our
Career & Employment Center. The Career Center staff are
available to help you evaluate career options, conduct
job searches, write a resume, and much more. And they
conduct an annual Job Fair that puts you in touch with
employers and graduate school representatives from all
