Industrial Maintenance Technology

Program Summary
Industrial maintenance studentStudents will be trained to maintain, repair and service sophisticated production equipment. Students will obtain a background in electricity, electronics, hydraulics, plumbing, machine shop processes, and other areas needed by maintenance technicians.

Upon satisfactory completion of coursework and a minimum GPA of 2.0, graduates of this program may transfer up to approximately 63 credit hours toward a BA degree from the University of Northern Iowa; 16 hours of vocational credit already transfer to the Iowa Regent schools.

  • Fisher Controls-Industrial Technology – Student enrolled in Industrial Technology program; financial need considered.

  • Dale & Mary Jefferson Industrial Tech – Resident of IVCCD majoring in Industrial Technology, 2.67 or higher GPA, financial need considered (but not full federal assistance).
