Liberal Arts
Program Summary
Students who are
undecided about a major can be a Liberal Arts major until they decide.
Students with a Liberal Arts major will take general education
requirements and elective courses needed to
continue their education as a junior at a four-year school.
Liberal Arts
majors typically take writing, math and speech courses early to acquire
the foundation of skills they will need in other general education and
elective courses. In the second year, they may choose to take course
sequences or electives that provide the introductory knowledge so they
are better prepared to choose a major after transferring to a four-year
school.
