MCC honors those who have served on Veteran’s Day

Each year, on Nov. 11, MCC faculty, staff and students gather near the front of campus to honor the veteran’s that have served and are currently serving our country.

Over 50 people attended the ceremony at noon on Monday, including three members of the Marshalltown American Legion Color Guard and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW): Laurel Phipps, WWII veteran; Cecil Buschbom, WWII veteran; and Jeff Heiden, Iraq veteran.
