The Orpheum Theater Center welcomes the public to take docent-lead tours and to learn about our history while exploring backstage and behind-the-scenes areas. You’ll experience architectural splendor and technological wonders first hand. Tours give you a real ‘insiders’ look into the world of theater and film. They’re ideal for both locals and visitors to Marshall County. An excellent outing for your club, alumni group, or business associates. Theater and Space Rental Information
The Orpheum Theater Center is one of Marshalltown’s cultural hubs. Situated in the historic district of downtown Marshalltown, the Center is centrally located and near restaurants, shops and historic sightseeing sites. The Orpheum Theater Centers primary venues include a movie house and a black box (arena) theater. In addition to these main venues, the Center comprises of inviting lobby spaces, learning studio spaces for break-out sessions, readings and seminars or rehearsals. Also available is the outdoor patio and amphitheater for patio parties in the summer season.
