Dr. Kristie Fisher is third IVCCD Chancellor candidate

Dr. Kristie Fisher, Senior Director of National Associations & Market Engagement for ACT Inc., is the third of four candidates who will be interviewed for the Iowa Valley Community College District (IVCCD) Chancellor position. Dr. Fisher will participate in a two-day interview process Mar. 27-28 on the Marshalltown, Grinnell and Ellsworth campuses.
Faculty, staff, students and community members will have an opportunity to meet Dr. Fisher and ask questions of her at three open forums during the two-day process. The open forums will be in Marshalltown on Wednesday, Mar. 27, from 9:45 to 10:45 in the Continuing Education Center (Dejardin Hall/room 808). That same day, Dr. Fisher will attend an open forum in Grinnell from 3:15 to 4:15 at the Iowa Valley Grinnell campus (Wellborn Lounge). On Thursday, Mar. 28, she will attend an open forum in Iowa Falls from 8:45 to 9:45 am at the Ellsworth Community College Dale Howard Family Activity Center (Panther Den). All open forums are open to the public.
The IVCCD Board is bringing four finalists to the District, each for a two-day interview process. The final candidate will interview on Apr. 2-3.
The name of the remaining finalist will be announced one day prior to the visit. At that time, the name and resume of the candidate visiting on the following two days will be posted on the IVCCD website at https://www.iavalley.edu/administration-board-of-directors/ivccd-chancellor-search/. Evaluation forms for each of the candidates will also be posted on that web page. Evaluations must be completed by noon on Friday, April 5.
The IVCCD Board is scheduled to discuss the finalist candidates and announce the successor for IVCCD Chancellor Dr. Chris Duree as part of its regular meeting agenda on Wednesday, April 10, at 4 pm in Iowa Falls.
