The Everman Era for the Tiger Baseball Program is set to begin in Spring of 2019. While this season is Everman’s first at MCC, he brings a wealth of coaching experience at all levels to Shawn Williams Field. Everman’s coaching experience includes stints at the NJCAA, NAIA, and at the NCAA Division I level at Arkansas State University, University of Northern Colorado, Kansas State University, and served as an Associate Scout for the Cleveland Indians from 2011-2012. Everman most recently was the Head Coach at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS a Division I NAIA institution playing in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. During Coach Everman’s tenure as Head Coach at Benedictine, the Ravens won 82 games highlighted by the 2017 season, when the Ravens won 35 games and finished 22-10 in the conference.

Everman is an accomplished recruiter currently serving as an Associate Scout for the Oakland A’s. This experience will be necessary to turn around the Tiger Baseball program which finished 9-34 a year ago. Everman will look to revive a struggling program with a group of talented returners. Three returning freshmen from last year’s team earned All-Region honors in Elijah Bergeron, Walter Hernandez, and Jeffry Roldan. Everman is excited to see what this core group of players can do but understands there is a lot more that goes into creating a winning program as he looks to foster a new culture for MCC Baseball.

Everman also serves as the Coordinator of Events at MCC. He and his wife Taylor reside in Marshalltown and have one young son, Trent.
