Nancy teaches Psychology courses at MCC and coordinates the Student Assistance Program, an on-campus counseling service. She has a Minor in Art History, a B.A. in Psychology, and an M.A. in School Psychology from Eastern Illinois University. Prior to teaching, Nancy practiced as a School Psychologist for 16 years, specializing in the Middle School and High School populations. She is also a practicing artist and aspiring children’s book author.

A Chicago native, Nancy has lived in Iowa for more than 20 years and is equally at home in the peacefulness of the countryside or the hustle of urban settings. She is passionate about making a difference in her community and serves on several local non-profit boards.

When not working on school related items, Nancy can be found tending to her acreage or working in her studio. She is married and has one grown son.
