Dr. Martin Reimer is first IVCCD Chancellor candidate

Dr. Martin Reimer, Provost of Ellsworth Community College, is the first of four candidates who will be interviewed for the Iowa Valley Community College District (IVCCD) Chancellor position. Dr. Reimer will participate in a two-day interview process Mar. 20-21 on the Marshalltown, Grinnell and Ellsworth campuses.
Faculty, staff, students and community members will have an opportunity to meet Dr. Reimer and ask questions of him at three open forums during the two-day process. The open forums will be in Marshalltown on Wednesday, Mar. 20, from 9:45 to 10:45 in the MCC Student Activity Center (Tiger Hall). That same day, Dr. Reimer will attend an open forum in Grinnell from 3:15 to 4:15 at the Iowa Valley Grinnell campus (Wellborn Lounge). On Thursday, Mar. 21, he will attend an open forum in Iowa Falls from 8:45 to 9:45 am at the Ellsworth Community College Dale Howard Family Activity Center (Panther Den). All open forums are open to the public.
The IVCCD Board is bringing four finalists to the District, each for a two-day interview process. The second candidate will interview Mar. 25-26, the third candidate on Mar. 27-28, and the fourth on Apr. 2-3.
The names of the remaining finalists will be announced one day prior to each of the visits. At that time, the name and resume of the candidate visiting on the following two days will be posted on the IVCCD website at https://www.iavalley.edu/administration-board-of-directors/ivccd-chancellor-search/.
The IVCCD Board is scheduled to discuss the finalist candidates and announce the successor for IVCCD Chancellor Dr. Chris Duree as part of its regular meeting agenda on Wednesday, April 10, at 4 pm in Iowa Falls.
