Course Materials. Simplified.
ACCESS stands for Affordable Course Content for Every Student Success. This program ensures students get their books and materials conveniently and affordably.
Here’s how it works:
- Faculty select and submit the course materials they want to use.
- VitalSource, our partner for the ACCESS program, will provide the course materials adopted by faculty in both physical and digital formats.
- When you register for classes, your books are automatically ordered.
- Physical textbooks are shipped for free to your home or to campus. If an instructor has chosen a digital textbook, you’ll receive the access information via email.
- The per credit fee is added to your student account, where financial aid will be applied if a student completes the financial aid process. If you have a tuition payment plan, your book costs are included, and you pay for them across the semester.
- You have until the Friday before the semester begins to opt-out of the program and purchase course materials on your own. If you don’t opt out, your student account will be charged $22 per credit hour.
Spring 2025 Term: Opt-out deadline is January 26, 2025.
Program Benefits:
- High-quality, low-cost course materials for all your classes.
- One flat fee, regardless of course, major, or book format.
- Receive all your books before the first day of class.
- Year-round support.
- Digital materials are easily accessible through Canvas.
