Iowa Valley Students Tackle the Future in One-Hour Gen-AI Challenge
Iowa Valley Community College is thrilled to announce its participation in the upcoming BEA One-Hour Gen-AI Competition, a national creative challenge that invites students to push the boundaries of innovation, storytelling, and artificial intelligence. The event will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM, calling on participants to demonstrate creativity and mastery of AI tools in media production.
In this timed, one-hour challenge, students must create a 30-second video entirely generated by artificial intelligence—no live footage, authentic voices, or real-world recordings allowed. All components, from visuals to narration, must be produced exclusively using AI tools. Teams and individuals are encouraged to experiment, collaborate, and embrace the creative possibilities of emerging technologies shaping the future of communication.
