Robotics and Automation: Install, Program, and Maintain Automated Systems
Modern manufacturing runs on automated systems, and they need people who can install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain them. This AAS program combines hands-on lab work with technical coursework in robots, motors, sensors, and the controls that run them.
The program is built to get you into the workforce sooner. You earn a diploma after your first year, then continue toward the full Associate of Applied Science degree. Along the way you take courses in PLCs, AC-DC motors and controls, fluid power, networking, and industrial mechanics, and finish with automated processes, robotics, and mechatronics.
