We want to make college a reality for you! Here's how to see if you qualify for the Marshalltown Education Partnership.

You might be a great fit if:

  • You're a First-Generation College Student: This means neither of your parents completed a four-year college degree.
  • You Demonstrate Financial Need: Students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch may be eligible.
  •  You're Ready to Commit: You'll need to sign the Commitment to Excellence Contract during your 8th-grade year or before the end of your first semester in 9th grade.

Ready to take the next step towards your college goals? Applying is simple!

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Complete the MEP Application
  2. Sign the Commitment to Excellence Contract: Get a copy from the MEP Coordinator and complete it before the end of your first semester in 9th grade.
  3.  Submit Proof of Income: If needed, MEP may ask you to provide a copy of a tax return OR a free/reduced lunch verification form.

Once you submit your materials, the MEP Coordinator will review them, and an acceptance letter will be sent upon approval.
