Your Support & Success at ECC

Ellsworth Community College (ECC) proudly serves those who have served our country! We are a designated Home Base Iowa school, committed to helping veterans and their families successfully transition to life after military service and achieve their educational goals.

Scholarships & Financial Support

ECC offers various scholarship opportunities to help offset tuition and fees for our student veterans and military family members. The ECC Foundation and Trustees provide more than $800,000 in scholarships for students at ECC.

  • Greg Hodak Scholarship: Specifically for veterans, this scholarship can be combined with other awards.
  • Community Scholarships: The Iowa Falls community provides additional opportunities like the American Legion Scholarship and the Grace Hibner Scholarship (for those in the medical field).
  • Flexible Payment Arrangements: We offer flexible payment plans and allow students to charge books and supplies at the campus bookstore with proper military status verification.
  • We work to ensure your GI Bill® funding is in place to cover books, fees, and other eligible expenses.

For Scholarship Information: Contact the ECC Foundation Office or apply for the Greg Hodak Scholarship directly.

For Funding & Payment Information: Contact our Veterans Benefits Coordinator.
