Building Together

MCC’s student housing has run out of room. Two years of enrollment growth pushed demand past what the Marshalltown campus can house — right now, that gap is covered by tripling students into rooms and leasing off-campus apartments.

The fix: eight new residence buildings, built in part by MCC’s own construction students under instructor and contractor supervision — a hands-on capstone for the trades programs, and proof of what an MCC education produces.
