Marshalltown Community College (MCC) offers incredible opportunities and accessible education with two campus locations to serve Central Iowa: our main campus in Marshalltown and Iowa Valley Grinnell (link). Marshalltown Campus

Located at 3700 South Center St., just off Highway 30, our Marshalltown campus is designed to support your academic and student life needs.

Key Facilities:

• North Entrance: This entrance leads to Student Services, the library, Faust Student Union, college administration, and numerous classrooms in the north part of the building.
• Business & Technology Center (BTC): On the northeast side of campus, the BTC houses a state-of-the-art welding lab, industrial classrooms, and a computer lab for students.
• Construction Technology Building: Also on the northeast side of campus, this building is used for Powerline Technician and Natural Gas Technician labs and classes.
• Powerline Program Building: On the northeast side of campus, you'll find the Powerline Program Building, the dedicated hub for our Utility Technician Powerline program – preparing you for essential roles in the energy industry.
• Ray Frederick Gallery: The gallery showcases monthly exhibits from local artists and occasionally features MCC student artwork. You can access it through the 400 hallway, before the library entrance, by entering Door 4 from the back parking lot.
• Student Activity Center: This is the hub for Tiger volleyball and basketball games. It also features a modern Fitness Center with top-of-the-line workout equipment and a walking/running track. Student fees include Fitness Center membership.

    Monday – Thursday: 9 am - 9 pm
    Friday: 9 am – 4 pm
    Saturday: 11 am – 4 pm
    Sunday: 3 – 8 pm

Hours may vary due to events, athletic schedules, holidays, and weather. A valid student ID is required for entry.

• Biology Outdoor Learning Laboratory: On the southeast side of campus, this 40-acre nature preserve includes a 5-acre pond, a 10-acre forest, and a native prairie with trails used for cross-country meets. It's an invaluable resource for Biology and Environmental Studies students studying biodiversity and ecosystem ecology.

Iowa Valley Grinnell Campus

Visit our Iowa Valley Grinnell campus at 123 6th Ave., W. in Grinnell, IA. Iowa Valley Grinnell is home to Iowa's only Gunsmith Technology program, providing specialized, hands-on training to prepare you for a unique and in-demand career.

You can also dive into the Automotive Technology program and gain the skills needed for the evolving automotive industry. Iowa Valley Grinnell also offers a wide range of courses, allowing you to pursue your degree or diploma with the same quality education and student-focused support you'll find at MCC.
