Residence Halls & Apartments

At Ellsworth Community College (ECC), we’re excited to offer a range of comfortable and welcoming living options designed to fit your lifestyle and preferences, all conveniently located right on campus. Living on campus means you’re just steps away from classes, dining, and activities, and students are welcome to park their car on campus all week for added convenience.

Thompson Hall is a traditional, co-ed residence hall that houses 194 students. Each room comes fully furnished with the essentials, including beds and mattresses, desks, chairs, dressers, and closets to help you settle in comfortably. Throughout the hall, residents have access to inviting lounges, dedicated study spaces, laundry facilities, recreation areas, vending machines, and TV rooms, creating a supportive and connected living environment. Cable TV service is available; just bring your own television to enjoy it.

Lloyd Hall is our newest living option, with construction completed in summer 2023. This traditional, co-ed residence hall is home to 126 students and offers a fresh, modern living environment designed for comfort and connection. Each room comes fully furnished with the essentials, including beds and mattresses, desks, chairs, dressers, and closets to make move-in easy. Residents also enjoy access to inviting lounges, dedicated study spaces, laundry facilities, recreation areas, vending machines, and TV rooms, everything needed for a convenient and engaging campus living experience. Cable TV service is available; just bring your own television to enjoy it.
 
 

The College Apartments are conveniently located just steps from anywhere on campus and house 76 students in a co-ed environment, with four students per apartment. Each fully furnished unit includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area, and a kitchen, along with beds and mattresses, desks, chairs, dressers, and living room and kitchen furniture. Cable TV access is available (TVs not included), internet requires an Ethernet cable, and parking is located adjacent to the building with evening and weekend security provided.

The College Suites are located just steps from anywhere on campus and house 39 students in a co-ed setting, including three single units. Each fully furnished suite features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area, and a kitchen, along with beds and mattresses, desks, chairs, dressers, and living room and kitchen furniture. Single bedrooms are available in the Suites only. Cable TV access is available (TVs not included), internet requires an Ethernet cable, and nearby parking is provided with evening and weekend security.

Campus Dining

If you're living on campus, a meal plan is automatically part of your package, making dining easy and convenient. Commuting students are also welcome to purchase a meal plan or simply drop by for individual meals whenever you're on campus. Everyone's welcome at our table!

19 meals per week: $1,375 per semester

For students and anyone not living on campus, casual meal rates are as follows (prices are plus tax):

  • Breakfast: $5.55
  • Lunch: $7.35
  • Dinner: $8.55
  • Special Meals: $9.00

A 10-Meal Punch Card is also available for $72.64 plus tax, offering a flexible option for your dining needs.

Our cafeteria serves meals throughout the week to fit your busy schedule:

Monday - Friday:

  • Breakfast (full meal): 7:30 to 8:30 am
  • Continental Breakfast: 8:30 to 9 am
  • Lunch: 11:15 am to 1:15 pm
  • Dinner: 5:30 to 7 pm
  • Saturday & Sunday:
  • Brunch: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Dinner: 5:15 to 6:15 pm

All meals are served when students are on campus.

Disability Housing & Assistance Animals

Students requesting housing accommodations for a disability or medical condition must first register with Disability Services before accommodations can be approved.

  • Submit a Housing Application and $120 prepayment.
  • Complete all required Disability Services documentation.
